1) A leading provider of own branded vehicle tracking software in the telematics market would like to attract an Non Executive Director with the capability and experience to provide sound strategic advice to support the company’s growth and exit ambitions. The directors would like the NED to join the monthly board meetings and provide infrequent telephone support. The Company is open to discussions surrounding appropriate compensation. 2) An exciting technology company is in the early stage of product commercialisation. The company is looking for a Commercial Director to help with establishing new product sales. The idea candidate will have a background in the building technology industry and a track record of sales into OEM’s. The role is sweat equity and is remotely based. 3) A Business Partner is needed with strong sales and marketing experience and ideally well connected in the legal profession to accelerate sales for a growing business. The company is a web-based document assembly system that considerably improves productivity when generating multiple reiterations of standard contracts and other legal documents. The job pays sweat equity and/or commission on sales. Candidate can work remotely.
4) A leading innovator in off-grid, hybrid renewable energy systems integration, delivering full-service solutions, requires a Sales Director for its management team. The successful candidate will build on the business development success achieved by the MD who is based in Milton Keynes – ideally the sales director will live within reasonable travelling distance of this and be comfortable working remotely. A power electronics engineering background with knowledge of RE, and quite possibly a degree in Renewable Energy engineering is preferred. Equity participation and sales commissions available, with the added possibility of options or other instruments.
5) A fast-growing e-commerce brand of clothing for adults and children with disabilities needs someone who understands and can react to sales opportunities online both in the UK and internationally. The success of the brand to date is based on recognizing the needs of its customers and high street quality design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social networking, e-commerce, and be able to react quickly to change. Location could be remote, experience in fashion a bonus. Incentive package is negotiable.
6) A dynamic fast growing social enterprise providing sports based, active learning programmes for young people aged between 10 and 25 requires an Employer Engagement and Partnership Manager. The business successfully re-engaged over 300 young people back into education or training and now wish to develop its service further in order to identify a greater number of employment and apprenticeship opportunities across all of its delivery areas, with a focus on Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire in particular. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of securing opportunities in both these areas and will therefore have a detailed knowledge of the employment arena in these locations. This is a new function in the company and therefore requires someone with the drive to identify good quality opportunities and the potential to manage the function as it grows. Incentive package is negotiable.
